[00:00] so looks like zapier has changed how we're going to be approaching chat Bots and interfaces let's go aad and check out the pricing and what that means for our zapier plans on top of that it looks like they kind of actually split how it's done so there's actually be a new pricing model for interfaces and chat Bots finally there seems to be a whole separate interface dedicated for chat Bots let's jump in welcome back to Corbin A y'all this is going to be a video covering zap's new updates in regards to chat Bots I am back from traveling I'm a slightly sick so if I come off in these next couple videos that you see this week a little sick so
[00:30] just keep that in mind but let's go and dump in I saw this before I started traveling and let's see what the implications are of how we can start approaching chat Bots all right so let's go ahead and just create a new interfaces here because interfaces is what is paired with these chat Bots as we know we've been looking at interfaces on this channel for quite a while now and there is just a ton of different pre-made templates here as you see created by zapier I think there may be something in the works where there could possibly be more of a public Marketplace in this comp context due to the fact
[01:01] that you know giving access to a ton of people the opportunity to create interfaces and list them I think would be a great opportunity but for now though we're just going to check out the chatbot feature I got a big update so I'm going to say start from scratch we started from scratch here I'm going to come down here to chat Bots all right so if you're famili familiar with this channel you can check out the other videos on this topic we've done a ton of stuff when it comes to interfaces specifically chat Bots it seems like they changed the UI here so as you see they've created it's basically we can just select we get to select pre-built chat Bots so in this context that means that
[01:31] across their interfaces we can actually select a specific chat bot that we'd want to use that may be already you know prein tuned with our data and stuff of this nature so all we can do in this context is basically adjust three variables on the front end of interfaces it seems like those three things we can adjust are going to be the height of it the width of it and the alignment everything else is done in the new UI for managing chat bots so let's go to check that out I'm hit manage this chatbot and as you see it brings us to the the new UI and just for reference
[02:02] here they even added it to the sidebar of Zap let me go back here so they even added this to the sidebar of zapier which is a pretty big deal that means they're going to invest a lot of resources into this technology obviously with the advantageous creation and integration of artificial intelligence it makes sense why they would do this there's probably going to be a bunch of more use cases we see in the future here but as you see right off the bat we have one to two we have one out of two chat Bots used so what this means is right now there seems to be a split way of pricing chat Bots and interfaces so let's go check that out all right so on
[02:32] a surface level as you see we got our chat Bots plans and pricing and then we also have our interfaces plans and pricing interfaces think of as landing pages and website Builders easy drag and drop can integrate automations on chatbots you're talking to a robot but it's trained on data stuff we know already knowing that though it is interesting that the perspective and the direction they're taking now is they split the pricing so as you already know with interfaces basically this gives us the ability to create landing pages and as you see we are given a certain amount
[03:04] they call them projects in this context and you know two five unlimited and kind of go down here so this is pretty standard stuff this is what we're used to the new thing is chatbots as you see here we got three different tiers we got a free tier a premium tier and advanced tier as a starting level on the free tier we get access to two chatbots the model of gbt 3.5 and custom directive then we can come down here and kind of break it down a little further starting stting off here if you really were trying to leverage the chat bot in the context of a website you'd probably be
[03:35] leaning towards a Premium plan as this is what allows you to upload data sources and get access to Advanced AI models for example Chad gb4 so to be clear though it seems like the only differentiating feature between the Premium plan and the advanced plan is going to be the amount of chat bots in total so we go from a five to a 10 and then removing Z your local so most context most people will probably be leaning towards the Premium plan that being said said it seems like they split this too so if you're just using interfaces in the context of just creating landing pages filling out forms
[04:06] you won't even need a touch chat bot they've kind of just split the two there but if you plan on doing more complex landing pages or stuff of this nature it now seems like there's a whole separate pricing and monetization of these chat bots so knowing that that is why they've created a whole new section to their zaper front end where we can actually start editing these chatbot so now we're in like our Coral chatbot here let's go and just name it like test bot so we can see it on the front end interfaces as well I'm going to go and save the changes here let's play around with this okay so right now I'm in the free version of this plan and as you see here
[04:37] this is going to be the limited access I get as a free version so obviously we get you know the starting type this is pretty standard stuff we know you get the story static how can I help you or generated and then basically a placeholder input placeholder here and then from here is our directive this is very much as you see like the tone of style so you're an AI chap have assistant uh tone sarcastic and stuff of this nature you know a bunch of prompting we've done this before and as you see here with our current model current set we got only access to 3.5 in order to get access to
[05:08] four we' have to upgrade to $20 a month knowing this we got the nice little uh creativity bar here EG uh creativity you want it really low if you don't want it to go too crazy on the outputs so this is really good at scale you want really random if you want more creative outputs knowing that we got the ability to display a disclosure message on the chat bot itself and then finally our Advanced options here we can go and change the title of the chat bot and the subdomain of chat bot pretty standard stuff so most of the stuff is pretty standard it almost just feels like the ways we were
[05:40] playing around with the chat botot in the past now just got its own separate um you know UI and you know way of editing it what the biggest thing about this update I'd say Obviously we got our data here we done be in the past we got our actions we've done in the past and the style you know coloring and stuff of this nature the biggest thing that is different from from this to the past is the fact that now we have the ability to create these chat Bots and almost use them throughout our interfaces ecosystem so as you see here we got test spot now that we have test bot here obviously we
[06:12] can go through the process of embedding and stuff of this nature on a higher plan let's go back over to interfaces before we go back to interfaces as you see here it is in our chat bot section now as test bot it gives us the specific model associative test spot and when we updated it so with the bread and butter incurs here is basically now we got the ability to access test spot and create other test spot so I can basically you know jump through a bunch of different chats for a bunch of specific Niche use cases this is great as this will be able to expediate time uh essentially when you're trying to access and create these
[06:43] AI chatbots knowing that though we've kind of covered everything new in this update basically what's new in this update is now we have the ability to unilaterally apply these chat Bots let me go ahead and like eat a mushroom like Mario and expand basically we have the ability now to to create these chat Bots uh and select them so that can like limit or increase productivity in the context of using it acrosser interfaces they've monetized them now and on top of that it basically seems like the most specific
