[00:00] Let me show you how we could take any code on the internet and put it into our cursor AI. The technical term for this is called cloning a repo. But in reality, all we're doing is just taking all the code that exists in a repository like this. So that repository you just saw is a full-blown software that we're going to download into Cursor AI right now. To do this, it's actually quite simple. All you really need is a GitHub account. So make sure you create a GitHub account. It's completely free. We're going to hit clone repo. And then it's requesting a URL. To get this URL, you're going to go to the GitHub repo. It needs to be public as you see up here. We're going to hit code and I'm
[00:31] going to do it through an SSH. You could alternatively do it through HTTPS, but for me, I'm going to do SSH here. I'm going to copy this. I'm then going to click this again, paste it, and hit enter. It will then prompt you to ask where do you want to put the code. I'm going to create a new folder. Call this folder whatever you want. This is where it's going. I'm going to say my code now. It's my code. Great. Then I'm going to hit select as repository destination. As you see below me, it's going to start downloading. And then we're going to hit open. And would you look at that? We now have all of this relevant code. Let me help you troubleshoot if you run into errors. To help you with errors, I'm
[01:01] going to leave this Git repository in the description down below. You might be asking, Corbin, what the heck is this? This software, I actually show you how to build it from complete scratch. We're talking all the way from lesson one to lesson 6. And then the big one that's coming out is 3 hours and 44 minutes combining all this information into one video. Now, if you're watching this and it says down there like published two days ago, right now I'm currently rolling out each episode. But all you need to know and especially if you get an air when it comes to SSH is I'll make sure to leave this Google doc that's part of this entire series in the
[01:31] description down below which shows you how to create your SSH key. To be clear, an SSH key, all that really means in like normal language, just like regular. Enough with this dev jargon, Corbin, is essentially it tells your computer that you own your git profile and you can do commands locally on your computer to grab stuff like this code you just saw here. So, you run into errors, check out that Google doc in the description down below. Also, check out this entire series that's happening on my channel now. I'll make sure I link this playlist here. And in that free series, I show you to grab any YouTube link, select the
[02:01] language of timestamps you want, and simply hit generate timestamps. This is a real software. This is called tubestamp.com. You can check in the description down below for free. And there we go. Timestamps that we can copy. As a side note, what makes those timestamps is bumpups here. Pretty cool platform that allows you to analyze any video, whether through API or on the platform itself. So if you ever find yourself wanting to attach a video file to an AI model, welcome to bumpups. So there you go. step by step how to get any code in GitHub in a public repository. Make sure to leave a like if you felt like you learned something today's video. Make sure to check out
[02:31] that entire series. Those are two random videos. That is my face. I see you in the next
